Charities I Love!

I wish society wasn't broken and didn't need charities, but while it is, here are some that I love and support and I'd love for you to look at them and think about supporting them too, if you can?

BREAK:
https://www.break-charity.org/charity/

Break do amazing work with young people and particularly young care-experienced people who have enough shit to deal with as it is, so any way in which we can help them is great! Have a look at what Break do and find out more about care-experienced people and what they face.

REFUGE:

https://refuge.org.uk/

It does what it says on the tin.... Refuge works tirelessly to provide a Refuge for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Domestic Violence is still such a mind-bogglingly ubiquitous problem, and includes invisible abuses aswell, such as financial abuse and coercive control. Get browsing, get reading, get helping if you can. Nobody should live their lives in fear.

THE FEMINIST LIBRARY:

https://feministlibrary.co.uk/

Marginalised voices should be heard and preserved. The Feminist Library has been archiving feminist history since 1975... why don't we all help them archive it until we achieve equality? So... probably for a while, then...

Unist'ot'en:

Heal the people, heal the land.

https://unistoten.camp/support-us/donate/

Helping right the wrongs done to Indigenous people all over the world is the bare minimum those of us who live a life of priviledge partly fueled by our ancestors' atrocities can do. Here is one campaign that seeks to preserve the land, rights, resources and culture of the Unist'ot'en clan and more. It's all of our business. Read on and learn about the apocalypse visited upon indigenous people and how you can help repair wounds in even the tiniest way.
